I'm linking up to Wordless Wednesday with a picture of a pretty classic kids book. I hadn't ever read it before, and so glad I did! It is such a great book! I know many of my boy students will love it, but I'm sure the girls will too.
What classic kids books do you think I should read?
It was around this age that I first read Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. To this day, it is still one of my all time favorite books!

I haven't heard of it. Thanks for the recommendation!
DeleteHmmmm, well I'm not sure about classics but when I was doing my Gr.4/5 practicum we had the Author Pam Withers come to the school and talk about her new Xtreme adventure series of chapter books. They are set in British Columbia, and the characters are two guy friends who get into some interesting situations when doing different extreme sports (river kayaking, dmx biking, backcountry skiing, white water rafting, etc.) . My class loved them and to be honest I have read several and really enjoyed them too!!

Those sound fun! I love that they are set in B.C. I wonder if we've got any in the library?
