Giveaway Winner and Back to School

I'm doing a two-part blog post today. This week Blog Hoppin' is doing a week long Teacher Week Linky!  Today is day one, but more on that in a moment.....

For those of you who entered, I'm sure you are curious who won my 10000 views giveaway!  One person wins any item of their choice from my TpT store!

I'm excited to announce that Marcy Philo is our winner! Marcy, check your email please!  Thank you everyone for entering!

I hope that you are still reading, and not sad because you didn't win.  If you're still here.  Thanks!  On to part two....

I linked up last week to Meet the Teacher Blogger.  I shared a lot about myself in that post.  So, I'm challenging myself to share a few more things that weren't there.  I present to you, 10 random facts about Angela.

1. I am left handed.

2.  If you count my practicums, I will be teaching in my 5th school in the district this year (my 5th official year of teaching.)  I hope not to move again for a while!

3.  I am terrified of ladybugs.  Honestly, I don't know why.

4. My first job was in a yarn store.  I sold yarn to old ladies.  It was not very cool at 15 years old, but it gave me money to go to the movies and stuff, so that was alright.

5. I have two degrees, a BSc in Biology and my BEd.  I was wanting to go into research, but realized I hated being alone in the lab all the time.

6. I collect Hello Kitty things: stuffies, jewelry, stickers, erasers.... doesn't matter.  I only like stuff that isn't obviously for kids..... though I kind of want a Hello Kitty lunch kit.

7. My candy addiction is licorice - red and black!

8. I have more rolls of washi tape than a person ever should have or will ever need.

9. Ask me again when it's minus 40 outside and I may change my mind, but I prefer winter to summer.

10. I prefer my hair straight, but it takes so long I rarely do it.

That's all!  Are we similar or way different?  Let me know in the comments.
Come back tomorrow to see a bit about where I teach!

  2. I have to say, I think left-handed is our only similarity...besides teaching 4th grade!

    1. Haha, it's not too often (in fact, it's never happened yet) that you find someone else scared of lady bugs! Lefties are the best!
